Lisa Scott Founds most rewarding community project ironically happens to also be the one she loves the most...her job, as the executive director of Winterfest, Inc. Not only does this allow her the opportunity to develop my professional side, but offers her the chance to embrace the community at large. Being a native of Fort Lauderdale, Lisa is proud and honored to have been chosen to lead this 30-year-old Fort Lauderdale tradition that highlights her hometown to hundreds of thousands of people nationally and internationally. Lisa adds, "Winterfest brings strong feelings of family to me. As long as I can remember, my family would make plans to spend this special evening together and anxiously await the beautifully decorated boats lighting up the Intracoastal until the last entry had passed us by. Now I have the opportunity to create a quality, high profile event that is a holiday tradition and most importantly, an event that brings family and friends together."
