Warm Apple Tart with Almond Creme and Caramel Sauce

This dessert comes together quickly yet looks like you fussed all day. It can be prepared an hour or two ahead of cooking and kept warm in a warming drawer until ready to serve.

Recipe can be found in At Home in the Kitchen on page 306

The only thing that you need to remember when making this recipe is that you have to allow time to defrost the puff pastry crust before you can begin. This will take several hours. You can also substitute with any fresh fruit that you find in the market. Why not try this fun desert for your next dinner party?

Puff pastry works in all sorts of recipes including the one for Pizza with Sun Dried Tomatoes, Basil and Goat Cheese.

Cindy G. says, "I made the tarts before my dinner guests arrived and kept them warm in a warming drawer. I served them one or two hours later and they were great."
