Basic Marinara Sauce

You say tomatto, I say tomatow. You say tomato sauce, the Italians call it Marinara. No matter what it is called, this simple red sauce is the basis of many great Italian dishes. Double the recipe to make a large pot, and save some for quick use on a busy day.

This quick and easy sauce is the basis for many great Italian - inspired dishes. But, it also stands alone as a great dipping sauce for grilled seafood. I'm sure you will find tons of great uses for this super sauce.


You may easily substitute this sauce with the one used in a favorite dish Chicken Pepperoni.
