Chilled Roasted Asparagus with Tomato Mayonnaise Salsa

Fresh asparagus signals the beginning of the summer season. This chilled dish is accented with a spicy mayonnaise that is full of gusto.

When purchasing asparagus, I like to use medium or small size for this dish. Peeling the stems is not necessary for small asparagus, but it is a must for the large ones.
